How is the summer over?! We here at Quillsen HQ feel like it blinked past us in a fleeting moment, but fear not we've rustled up some of the key events taking place in various Quillsen locations through the month of September. Here are some of our favourites:

Ranelagh Arts Festival

The Ranelagh Arts Festival are hosting three historical walks of Ranelagh across the opening weekend of the festival, September 24th & 25th, not to be missed!

THE CENTENARIES WALK – Marlborough Road to Muckross Park

MOUNTPLEASANT SQUARE & 18th Century Ranelagh

The Ranelagh Dog Competition, September 25th in Darmouth Square.

Owners can check-in with their four legged friends from 9am, judging begins at 11am for the many coveted titles up for grabs!

Last chance to visit The Dillon Garden, Ranelagh’s crown jewel.

Helen Dillon brings the garden to a permanent close at the end of September. The garden is open Sundays only, from 2pm to 6pm and admission is €5. We'll be sad to bid farewell to this oasis, best of luck to Helen on her future endevours!

Terenure Family Fun Day in Busy Park had to be rescheduled due to a freak down pour in August so we’re keeping our fingers crossed for continued September sunshine for Saturday 17th September. The market will operate usual hours of 11-4pm with outdoor Yoga from 11-12pm.

The Family Fun Day will run from 1-4pm, expect to experience zip lining, bouncy castles, face painting, magic show, live music and much more. The event is free so make the most of a great day!

Dun Laoghaire

As part of the ‘Solo Irish '16’ show, Ruth Power of Danu Ceramics has a beautiful collection on view at Nordic Makers from 25 August to 16 October. We are big fans of the beautiful pieces in stock at the Nordic store so we're sure this one will be a treat!

Culture Night

One of Dun Laoghaire’s best nights of the year. Our favourite venue is The Pavillion Theatre for the great line up they have, something for all ages.
